Meet Alexa.

A young woman with long brown hair and blue eyes sitting cross-legged on a black ottoman, smiling at the camera, holding a pen and pointing at an open planner or notebook on her lap, wearing a white sweater and ripped jeans.

“Living the dream” is usually my go-to response when people ask me how I’m doing and while there might be some sarcasm behind those words, being a therapist is my dream come true. It has been my souls passion since 8th grade to become a therapist. I was the designated listener of my friend group and I loved it. I would also describe myself as a “curiously nosy” person, which comes in handy for therapy because I enjoy getting to help my clients genuinely get to know themselves.

I graduated from Notre Dame College in 2013 with a bachelors in psychology and from Walden University in 2019 with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before launching my practice in 2026, I spent 11 years at a mental health agency developing experience in both the administrative and clinical sides of the field. The 6 years I’ve been a therapist has focused on helping adult individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues. It’s here I learned that the way you engage with the world around you is rooted in how aligned and attuned you are to your inner world and so my passion for helping clients create secure, authentic relationships with themselves and others, was born.

When I’m off the clock, I’m either curled up on the couch with my dogs, Leo and Enzo, and my Kindle, lost in a romantasy binge, cooking and making a bit of a mess, hanging out with friends, or watching Netflix.
